Description
The Scolari Bollicine I-KONIC Spumante Brut is a modern, characterful Italian sparkling wine that embodies pure joie de vivre and timeless elegance. It is produced in the heart of northern Italy, in the traditional wine-growing region of Lombardy, where the ideal combination of climate, soil and craftsmanship forms the basis for its exceptional quality. The grapes come from carefully selected Lager with mineral-rich soils, which lend the wine its unmistakable freshness and structure.
In the cellar, the wine is aged in stainless-steel tanks using the Charmat method, which gives Scolari Bollicine I-KONIC its lively perlage and precise interplay of aromas. The result is a Spumante Brut that impresses with its delicate effervescence, elegant balance and modern style. Even its appearance – a luminous straw yellow with pearlescent highlights – hints at its class. “Un’esplosione di bollicine fini e brillanti” – an explosion of the finest, sparkling bubbles that rise gently and make the glass glisten. A sparkling wine that combines energy, vibrancy and Italian sophistication – the iconic companion for stylish evenings.
Tasting Note
In the glass, the Scolari Bollicine I-KONIC Spumante Brut displays a pale straw-yellow colour with delicate, pearlescent highlights and the finest, long-lasting perlage. On the nose, fresh aromas of citrus fruits, green apples and white-fleshed fruits unfold, accompanied by floral nuances. On the palate, it is lively, fresh and precise, with a delicate minerality and a well-balanced acidity. The creamy mousse blends harmoniously with the fruity notes; the finish is elegant, clean and long-lasting.
Residual sugar: 10 g/l
The Scolari Bollicine I-KONIC Spumante Brut is ideal as an aperitif and with finger food, light starters or pinzimonio (raw vegetables with dip). Thanks to its pronounced freshness and minerality, it pairs perfectly with seafood, marinated fish dishes or oysters. It is also an ideal accompaniment to sushi, salmon carpaccio or summer vegetable-based dishes. The optimum serving temperature is 10–12 °C, and it reaches its drinking peak within two years of bottling. An elegant spumante that brings the lightness and joie de vivre of Italy to life in every glass.
