Henkell Semi-Dry 11.5% ABV 0.2 l is the handy, stylish version of the popular classic from Henkell Freixenet – perfect for spontaneous enjoyment, on the go or at small gatherings. This semi-dry sparkling wine with its fine bubbles embodies harmony, balance and refined elegance. It is made from a carefully composed cuvée of select white wines, which bring freshness, fruitiness and mild sweetness into wonderful balance.

The second fermentation takes place using the Charmat method, in which the wine ferments in a pressure tank to optimally preserve the typical fruit aromas and fine perlage. The sparkling wine then matures on the lees for several months to develop its creamy texture and elegant finesse. The Henkell Semi-Dry thus presents itself as a classic German sparkling wine with an international style – lively, rounded and charming all at once.

Tasting Note

In the glass, the Henkell Halbtrocken displays a pale golden-yellow colour with a fine, even effervescence. On the nose, aromas of ripe apples, pears and peaches unfold, accompanied by subtle floral notes and a hint of honey. On the palate, this sparkling wine is mild, fruity and harmonious, with a balanced blend of delicate acidity and subtle sweetness. The effervescence is creamy and lively, whilst the finish is soft, round and pleasantly fruity – a sparkling wine that delights with its balance and lightness.
