What makes the Heather Cask Strength so special is its production method: it is distilled entirely from peated barley sourced from the Hobbister Moor – an area renowned for its aromatic peat, interwoven with purple heather. This heather lends the peat – and thus the whisky – its characteristic note of delicate, floral smoke, which blends subtly with the other flavours without overpowering them.

This single malt is bottled at cask strength at 63.6% ABV, without chill filtration, to preserve its full intensity. It has been matured in a combination of first-fill and American sherry-seasoned oak casks, as well as selected refill casks, creating a harmonious interplay of sweetness, spice and smoke.
