The Quinta do Pinto Arinto DOC Alenquer 2023, with an alcohol content of 13% vol. in a 0.75-litre bottle, is an exceptional white wine from Portugal that impressively reflects the full aromatic potential of the Arinto grape variety. On the unique terroir of the Alenquer DOC, north of Lisbon, Arinto develops its typical freshness and structure, complemented by an unmistakable creaminess that is characteristic of Quinta do Pinto’s white wines.


The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand in the morning to preserve maximum freshness. After careful selection on the sorting table, they are completely destemmed and macerated for four hours before the must is clarified through 48 hours of cold decanting. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts takes place under temperature control at 16–17 °C in cement tanks, where the wine is then aged for three months on fine lees. This precise winemaking process produces a wine of great character, combining the mineral intensity of the Atlantic climate with a silky texture and elegant depth – a prime example of Portuguese craftsmanship and a true expression of terroir.

Tasting Note

In the glass, the Quinta do Pinto Arinto DOC Alenquer 2023 displays a bright lemon-yellow colour. On the nose, there are distinct citrus aromas with dominant notes of lime, harmoniously interwoven with floral and slightly salty nuances. On the palate, the wine is fresh, lively and precise, with a pronounced surge of acidity characterised by the terroir’s Atlantic influence. At the same time, a gentle, characteristic creaminess unfolds, lending it balance and depth. The finish is long, salty and lingering, with a mineral aftertaste – a wine of exceptional longevity and elegance.

The Quinta do Pinto Arinto DOC Alenquer 2023 is a versatile accompaniment to seafood, grilled fish and white meat dishes.
