The Four Roses Barrel Strength Small Batch Limited Edition Release 2025 54.5% Vol. 0.7 l is an annual special bottling, strictly limited to 5,100 bottles, which impressively reflects the craftsmanship and traditional blend philosophy of the Four Roses Distillery. For the 18th edition, four selected batches from three different bourbon recipes were combined, each from Four Roses' characteristic ten-recipe matrix. This year's edition combines a 13-year-old OBSV, a 13-year-old OBSK, a 13-year-old OESV and a 19-year-old OESV, resulting in a multi-layered and clearly structured composition. Bottled exclusively at cask strength and not chill-filtered, the natural character of the bourbon is fully preserved.


With an alcohol content of 54.5 per cent by volume, this limited edition presents itself as a balanced marriage of depth, maturity and aromatic precision. The carefully selected barrels impressively demonstrate how Four Roses uses its variety of recipes to mould each annual edition into an independent interpretation of its own house style. The use of matured bourbons aged between 13 and 19 years gives this bottling a long-lasting complex structure and makes it stand out clearly within the small batch line. As a limited collector's bottling, it once again demonstrates how precisely and detail-orientated Four Roses has mastered the art of bourbon blending.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep gold with copper reflections.

Nose: Sweet apricot, vanilla and caramel, accompanied by black tea, fine rye notes and gentle oak.

Flavour: Apricot and citrus, combined with crème brûlée, spiced oak and a harmonious depth.

Finish: Very long-lasting, soft and aromatic with fine wood and spice nuances.

The Four Roses Limited Edition 2025 is ideal for pure enjoyment, as its cask strength and complex flavour profile come into their own. A harmonious combination is created with bitter dark chocolate, roasted nuts or desserts such as crème brûlée, which elegantly complements its sweet and spicy flavours.
