Kah Tequila Blanco is an artfully crafted premium tequila that impressively reflects Mexico’s rich culture and tradition. Made from 100% blue Weber agave, this Blanco symbolises purity, authenticity and the spiritual significance that has accompanied tequila for centuries. The name Kah comes from the Mayan language and means ‘life’ – a fitting expression for the vibrant, aromatic energy that this tequila conveys. Its distinctive bottle design – a white skull-shaped bottle with black ornamentation – is inspired by the famous Mexican festival Día de los Muertos, which celebrates the lives of the deceased. Each edition of the Kah series pays tribute to a specific tradition of this festival; in the case of the Blanco, the design is inspired by the unique customs of Bolivia, where, on 8 November, real skulls of deceased relatives are taken to the cemetery and honoured there with, amongst other things, tequila. This ritual is said to bring good luck and protect the living from evil spirits.

The Blanco has a silky-smooth and balanced flavour, with an initial sweetness quickly giving way to a distinctive, peppery spiciness. On the palate, a diverse range of spices unfolds, highlighting the clear structure of this unaged tequila. The artisanal production and careful selection of agaves lend this tequila an authentic character, making it a special experience whether enjoyed neat or in premium cocktails. The artistic design of the bottle, together with the cultural significance behind every detail, rounds off this Blanco, creating a harmonious blend of tradition, ritual and spirit.

Tasting Note

Colour: Crystal clear.

Nose: Silky smooth, slightly sweet, with fresh agave aromas and peppery notes.

Palate: Balanced and aromatic; a sweet start, followed by distinct peppery spice and a variety of spices.

Finish: Long-lasting, spicy and clearly structured with a warm, fresh agave note.

Kah Tequila Blanco is ideal for classic cocktails such as the Margarita, Paloma or Tequila Sour, in which its spicy, clean agave character comes into its own. Served neat or on the rocks, its silky-smooth texture is particularly impressive. It makes a fresh, aromatic accompaniment to dishes such as ceviche, grilled prawns, tacos with light salsas or citrus desserts. It also pairs perfectly with savoury dishes featuring lime, coriander or a gentle chilli heat, remaining lingeringly spicy and lively.
