Samai Kampot Pepper Spiced Rum is an exceptional rum-based spirit that stands for a modern, aromatic and spicy style and impressively reflects the origins of Cambodia. For this bottling, finely matured rum, made from Cambodian sugar cane molasses, is refined with aromatic red Kampot pepper. Kampot pepper is one of the most renowned pepper varieties in the world and gives this speciality its unmistakable signature. The rum is distilled using both the traditional copper pot still and the column still method, which creates a balance between structure and elegance.


The rum matures for up to three years, is then blended and married for a further six months in stainless steel tanks in order to harmoniously integrate the flavours. Due to the targeted flavouring with Kampot pepper, it is legally a spiced rum or spirit drink based on rum. At 41% vol., this bottling is powerful, yet surprisingly fresh and balanced. Fruity accents, subtle sweetness and the characteristic spiciness of the pepper make this Samai a unique, versatile speciality for pure enjoyment and sophisticated cocktails.
