The Heinrich Ried Siglos 2024 is a single-vineyard wine from Burgenland that is characterised by its origin and impressively reflects the special characteristics of the Ried Siglos in the Altes Weingebirge. The vines are almost 60 years old, which gives the wine depth, balance and a remarkable inner calm. The cuvée of Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch forms the basis of this wine and combines freshness, elegance and structure to create a harmonious overall picture. The wine is matured in small oak barrels, building up substance and finesse without masking the natural fruit. With an alcohol content of 13%, the 2024 vintage is balanced, precise and clearly structured.


The Ried Siglos stands for finesse and fine fruity elegance and is deliberately vinified in such a way that it offers great drinking pleasure even at a young age, while at the same time offering development potential. The combination of old vines, careful vinification and restrained use of wood makes this cuvée vineyard wine an expressive representative of the region and a versatile companion for sophisticated moments of enjoyment.

Tasting Note

Clear ruby red in the glass with fine depth. Elegant and delicately fruity on the nose with clear berry flavours. Balanced and precise on the palate with juicy fruit, fine flavour and well-integrated structure. The finish is harmoniously elegant and lingering with a lot of drinking pleasure.

The Heinrich Ried Siglos 2024 is an excellent accompaniment to beef dishes, fine roast veal or lamb, where its elegance and structure come into their own. It is also very harmonious in combination with roast poultry, mushroom dishes or medium-bodied cheese. This single-vineyard wine from Burgenland also impresses as a soloist when a finely structured red wine with depth of origin and a high drinking flow is required.
