The Scheiblhofer Big John White 2025 is an expressive Austrian quality white wine from Burgenland that combines the strengths of two internationally recognised grape varieties in a modern yet sophisticated style. Produced at the renowned Scheiblhofer winery, this white wine stands for innovation, precision and a clear signature, which is also consistently pursued within the Big John Linie. The cuvée of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc benefits from the warm Pannonian climate of the Burgenland growing region, which allows for ripe fruit, balanced acidity and aromatic depth.


The Chardonnay component of the Scheiblhofer Big John White matures for four months in new barriques, giving the wine additional structure and complexity without masking its freshness. The dry white wine is finely balanced, elegantly flavoured and clearly fruity. With an alcohol content of 13%, the 2025 vintage is harmonious, precise and multi-layered. The generous drinking age of 2025 to 2030 emphasises the development potential of this cuvée. Tasting Note

A light yellow colour with fresh reflections in the glass. On the nose, fine aromatic spice and clear fruit flavours combine to create an elegant overall impression. On the palate, the wine is light-footed yet structured with ripe acidity and a balanced texture. The finish is harmonious, precise and pleasantly long-lasting.
