This blended Scotch whisky is composed of carefully selected single malts and grain whiskies, which have been allowed to mature for at least 15 years in oak casks. At the heart of the blend is a high proportion of malt whisky from the Aberfeldy Distillery, which gives the whisky its smooth, honey-tinged character.

A key quality feature is the eponymous double-ageing process. Following the initial maturation phase, the whiskies are blended and then stored together again, allowing the individual components to blend together particularly harmoniously.
