For this Special Reserve, the distillery’s finest Demerara rums are selected and blended by the Master Distiller to create a harmonious composition. All the distillates used are aged for at least 15 years in oak casks that were previously used to store whisky. Demerara Distillers is also the last distillery in the world still to use historic wooden pot stills for rum production.
