The Mars KOMAGATAKE Single Malt Japanese Whisky Limited Edition 2022 is a bottling full of character from the Mars Shinshu Distillery, which is located at an altitude of around 800 metres in the Japanese Alps and is considered to be one of the highest distilleries in Japan. The Japanese single malt whisky is matured in a combination of bourbon casks, sherry casks and port wine casks, creating a complex interplay of fruit, sweetness and spice. Bottled at a powerful 50%, this Japanese whisky is intense and structured. It has also not been chill-filtered and has been bottled without the addition of colouring agents, preserving its natural texture and colour. Nose: Mango, pineapple, banana and apricot, vanilla biscuits, light wood, fine herbs and subtle tea notes.

Flavour: Full-bodied, with floral nuances, honey, roasted hazelnuts, dried plums, acacia honey and elegant oak.

Finish: Langs, soft and fresh, with tannins, citrus notes and rich fruitiness.
