The cuvée is predominantly based on the Tempranillo grape variety, supplemented by small proportions of other traditional Rioja grape varieties, which give the wine additional complexity. After careful harvesting, temperature-controlled fermentation takes place in order to optimally extract the colour and aromas. The subsequent ageing in oak barrels gives this Beronia Rioja Reserva depth, elegance and fine flavour. At 14% vol., this red wine from Rioja is balanced and accessible, with a classic structure and supple tannins. Tasting Note

The glass reveals an intense ruby red colour with garnet reflections, the nose reveals aromas of ripe red berries and cherries, accompanied by fine notes of vanilla, spices and subtle toasted nuances, on the palate the wine is harmonious and structured, with supple tannins and balanced fruit spice, the finish is elegant and round, long-lasting and characterised by fine oak spice.

This Rioja Reserva from Spain is an excellent accompaniment to grilled beef, lamb chops or Iberico pork. It is a particularly harmonious accompaniment to classic tapas such as chorizo, Manchego or Jamón Serrano. This Beronia Reserva Rioja DOC also unfolds its structure perfectly with pasta with spicy tomato sauce, braised beef stew or mature hard cheese.
