The MICHAEL Pinot Blanc Vulkanland Steiermark DAC 2025, 12% vol., 0.75 l, is an elegant Pinot Blanc from Styria that is distinctly influenced by its terroir, precisely reflecting the mineral character of the Vulkanland Steiermark DAC. This Styrian DAC white wine epitomises clarity, freshness and timeless elegance, and embodies the characteristic style of modern Austrian white wines from volcanic vineyards. The Vulkanland Styria region is renowned for its fruit-driven, lively wines with a fine structure and invigorating acidity.
The hand-harvest on 22 September 2025 guarantees a selective harvest at optimal physiological ripeness and underlines the quality-focused standards of this Vulkanland DAC Pinot Blanc. Following careful selection, the grapes are fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks and then aged on the fine lees. This ageing on the fine lees in stainless steel tanks lends the 2025 Pinot Blanc additional structure, harmony and expression, without masking the clear fruit character. With an alcohol content of 12% vol., this Austrian white wine is well-balanced and versatile. The practical twist-off cap ensures hassle-free enjoyment and preserves the wine’s freshness perfectly. The drinking window is approximately 2 to 3 years, making this Vulkanland Styria DAC wine ideal for drinking in the near future.
Tasting Note
In the glass, it displays a pale straw-yellow colour with clear highlights, On the nose, a delicate aroma of juicy apples and Williams pears unfolds, accompanied by elegant freshness and subtle spiciness; on the palate, the wine is balanced and precise, with lively acidity and a harmonious structure; The finish is clean and elegant, long-lasting and underpinned by delicate fruit.
