The Leitner Pinot Blanc Vulkanland Steiermark DAC 2025, 12.5% ABV, 0.75 l, is an elegant Austrian white wine from Styria that harmoniously reflects the refined style of its Vulkanland Steiermark DAC appellation. The Leitner winery is renowned for its precisely vinified DAC wines from Austria, which combine freshness, balance and regional character. This dry white wine made from the Weißburgunder grape variety displays elegant aromas and a balanced structure typical of high-quality Styrian white wines.


The grapes come from the Vulkanland Steiermark, a region renowned for its mineral-rich soils and balanced climate. These conditions promote optimal ripening of the grapes whilst ensuring freshness and aromatic clarity. Viticulture is carried out using conventional methods, with particular attention paid to healthy grapes and careful processing. Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks, which helps to preserve the variety-typical fruit and the clear structure of the Pinot Blanc particularly well. With its moderate alcohol content and elegant style, this Styrian Pinot Blanc is ideal for immediate enjoyment, though it can also be Lagered for around two years. The bottle is sealed with a screw cap, which preserves its freshness perfectly.

Tasting Note

In the glass, it displays a pale yellow colour with subtle green highlights. On the nose, subtle fruity aromas of ripe yellow apple and melon unfold, accompanied by an elegant, complex bouquet, On the palate, the wine is well-balanced and finely structured, with delicate fruit and a pleasantly subtle tartness; the finish is smooth, elegant and long-lasting.

This Pinot Blanc from Styria is a versatile accompaniment to food and pairs excellently with fish dishes, seafood, poultry or light pasta dishes. It also pairs well with fresh salads, vegetarian dishes, asparagus or mild cheeses.
