After careful harvesting, the grapes are gently processed and fermented in a controlled manner, which preserves the natural flavour and intense fruit of this Primitivo IGP particularly well. Tasting Note

A deep ruby red colour with dark reflections in the glass, the nose reveals intense aromas of ripe cherries, plums and dark berries accompanied by spicy notes and a hint of Mediterranean herbs, on the palate the wine is full-bodied and harmonious with juicy fruit, soft tannins and fine spice, the finish is round, balanced and long-lasting.

The Tagaro Cinquenoci Primitivo is an excellent accompaniment to grilled meat, lamb dishes, hearty pasta dishes or Italian stews. This Primitivo from Apulia also harmonises well with pizza, mature hard cheese or Mediterranean meat dishes. Served at around 16-18 °C, this Italian Primitivo IGP from Puglia unfolds its fruity depth, spicy structure and typical southern Italian elegance in a particularly harmonious way.
