The Hagn Grüner Veltliner Federflug 2025, 11% ABV, 0.75 l, is a fresh and elegant Grüner Veltliner from Lower Austria that particularly clearly reflects the typical style of this flagship Austrian grape variety. Produced by Weingut Hagn, the grapes come from the Hochlüssen vineyard, whose loam-loess soils provide ideal conditions for aromatic and precise Grüner Veltliner quality wines. For this vintage, only carefully selected grapes from particularly well-situated vineyards are used, giving the wine its characteristic freshness and elegant structure.


After harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and left on the mash for around six hours before being gently pressed in a pneumatic press. Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless-steel tanks at around 18°C, followed by three months’ ageing in steel tanks, preserves the fruity clarity and varietal aromas of this Grüner Veltliner from Lower Austria. With its moderate alcohol content of 11% vol., a recommended serving temperature of 8–9°C and a drinking window from around 2025 to 2028, this Austrian quality wine is light, lively and exceptionally enjoyable to drink.

Tasting Note

In the glass, the Hagn Grüner Veltliner Federflug 2025 appears clear and brilliant. On the nose, a delicate spectrum of fruit unfolds with fresh, elegant nuances. On the palate, the wine is light and dry with a lively acidity, accompanied by typical aromas of white pepper and green apple. The finish is fresh, invigorating and long-lasting.

This Grüner Veltliner from Lower Austria is excellent as an aperitif and pairs very well with light starters, salads, vegetable dishes or classic Austrian specialities.
