Produced by the renowned Kaiken Wines winery, this Argentinian red wine combines grapes from the high-altitude terroirs of Los Chacayes (1250 metres), Altamira (1200 metres) and Gualtallary (1400 metres). Tasting Note

In the glass, the Kaiken Ultra Malbec 2022 has an intense red colour with violet and bluish reflections. The nose reveals expressive aromas of violet fruits, blackberries and raspberries, accompanied by violets, white flowers and spicy nuances of white pepper and cloves. Subtle vanilla notes from the wooden barrel ageing complete the aroma. On the palate, the wine is soft and silky with well-integrated, round tannins and a balanced structure. The lively acidity provides freshness, while fruity and spicy notes linger for a long time. The finish is complex, persistent and characterised by subtle hints of liquorice.

This Malbec from Mendoza is an excellent accompaniment to grilled beef, steaks, BBQ dishes or lamb.
