The Tschida Angerhof BA Beerenauslese white 2024 8% ABV 0.375 l is an elegant and aromatically complex Prädikat wine from Austria, produced by the renowned Weingut Tschida Angerhof. This Beerenauslese is based on a harmonious blend of Chardonnay and Welschriesling, both known for their balance of fruit, freshness and structure. As a classic Austrian sweet wine from the region around Lake Neusiedl, this wine is characterised by concentrated aromas, delicate sweetness and lively acidity. Selective harvesting ensures that only perfectly ripened grapes are used, resulting in the characteristic intensity of a high-quality Beerenauslese from Austria.


Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks to preserve the freshness and clear fruit aromas as effectively as possible. With an alcohol content of 8% vol., this noble sweet white wine is particularly elegant and well-balanced. The blend of Chardonnay and Welschriesling lends the wine both body and freshness, creating a multi-layered and harmonious overall profile. Served at a drinking temperature of 10–12 °C, this sweet wine from Austria reveals its full complexity and impresses with its long-lasting finish.

Tasting Note

The Tschida Angerhof Beerenauslese 2024 has a light golden yellow colour in the glass. The nose reveals a complex interplay of aromas of papaya, hay flowers, clover blossom and apricot jelly. On the palate, the wine is lively with an invigorating acidity, accompanied by nuances of ripe yellow pear, meadow blossom honey and fine fruity accents. The finish is elegant, long-lasting and characterised by a fine citrus arch and ringlets.

This Beerenauslese from Austria is an excellent accompaniment to desserts with fruit, fruit cake, sponge roulades, ice cream and sorbet variations as well as apricot and plum dumplings or Buchteln. The Tschida Angerhof BA also harmonises perfectly with goose liver variations or matured mountain cheese and is ideal for special moments of indulgence and as a sweet finish to a meal.
