Description
Description
The MICHAEL Pinot Gris Ried Hollerin Vulkanland Steiermark DAC 2025 14% vol. in a 0.75 litre bottle is an expressive and terroir-driven Pinot Gris from Styria that impressively reflects the volcanic origins of the Vulkanland Steiermark DAC. The renowned Hollerin vineyard gives this high-quality Austrian white wine its distinctive minerality, elegant structure and aromatic depth. The combination of regional microclimate, volcanic soils and careful vinification makes for a characterful DAC white wine from Austria with a modern yet authentic style.
The Pinot Gris grape variety is particularly complex and harmonious in this Styrian white wine. The grapes were harvested on 22 September 2025 and then matured in steel tanks for five months on fine lees. This vinification gives the Pinot Gris Vulkanland Steiermark DAC additional elegance, a fine creaminess and a balanced structure without masking the freshness and precision of the fruit. At a powerful 14% vol., this Austrian Pinot Gris is full-bodied and powerful, yet remains elegant and balanced. The combination of fruit, fine flavour and mineral tension makes this Steiermark DAC wine a versatile food companion with excellent ageing potential of three to five years. For lovers of Pinot Gris from Austria, Vulkanland Steiermark DAC, Styrian white wine, mineral Pinot Gris, DAC wine and Austrian quality wine, this vintage offers a precise and terroir-influenced flavour experience.
