Description
Description
The MICHAEL Sauvignon Blanc Vulkanland Steiermark DAC 2025, 12.5% vol., in a 0.75 l bottle, is a fresh and aromatic Sauvignon Blanc from Styria that impressively reflects the typical style of the renowned Vulkanland Steiermark DAC. The region’s volcanic soils and unique climate lend this high-quality Austrian white wine its lively freshness, elegant minerality and intense fruit aromas. As a classic DAC white wine from Austria, this vintage is modern, precise and particularly enjoyable to drink.
The Sauvignon Blanc grape variety is one of Styria’s most significant white wine varieties and, in this Styrian Sauvignon Blanc, reveals its particularly fruit-forward and elegant character. The grapes were harvested 100 per cent by hand on 23 September 2025 and subsequently matured in stainless steel tanks with fine lees ageing. This vinification process ensures freshness, clarity and a harmonious structure, whilst the exotic fruit aromas are perfectly preserved. At 12.5% ABV, the MICHAEL Sauvignon Blanc Vulkanland Styria DAC is lively, juicy and pleasantly balanced. The delicate balance of fruit, freshness and minerality makes this Austrian Sauvignon Blanc a versatile wine to be enjoyed, at its best over the next two to three years. For lovers of Sauvignon Blanc from Austria, Styria DAC, fresh white wine, Vulkanland Styria wine, aromatic Sauvignon Blanc and quality Austrian wine, this vintage offers a modern and terroir-driven tasting experience.
