The Volbeat XXV Premium Artisan Blend Rum Limited Edition was created to mark VOLBEAT’s 25th anniversary and combines exceptional rum craftsmanship with the history of one of Denmark’s most successful rock bands. With an alcohol content of 43% vol. in a 0.7-litre bottle complete with a gift box, this exclusive special edition is available in a strictly limited run of 2,300 individually numbered bottles. The rum was crafted by Master Blender Ian Smith of The Main Rum Company in Liverpool, in collaboration with VOLBEAT frontman Michael Poulsen, and reflects the band’s powerful, unmistakable character.


For the Volbeat XXV Premium Artisan Blend Rum, three selected Guyanese rums – distilled at the Diamond Distillery between 2001 and 2014 – are blended with a 2015 Jamaican pot still rum from the Clarendon Estate. The powerful depth and dark sweetness of the Guyanese rums combine with the intense fruity esters and vibrant aromas of the Jamaican pot-still rum. The result is a complex premium rum blend that harmoniously combines elegance, intensity and Caribbean diversity – a tribute to VOLBEAT’s 25 years of musical passion and international success.

Colour: Dark amber with coppery highlights.

Nose: Overripe tropical fruits, dark treacle, Demerara sugar, warm spices and subtle notes of oak and cocoa.

Palate: Full-bodied and oily with a syrupy sweetness, tropical fruits, intense ester notes characteristic of Jamaican pot-still rum, spices, molasses and an elegant warmth.

Finish: Long-lasting, intense and warming with dark sweetness, spicy oak and lingering tropical fruit notes.
