The base is a mash of malted and unmalted barley, which is then distilled three times in traditional copper pot stills. This production method gives the whisky its exceptional complexity and characteristic pot-still style. Maturation takes place in a combination of American white oak casks previously used for bourbon and Spanish oak casks previously used for Oloroso sherry, which gives the whisky its typical Redbreast character. As a Cask Strength Edition, the whisky is bottled undiluted and, at 57.5% ABV, offers the full spectrum of flavours in their natural intensity.

Colour: Deep gold with amber highlights.

Nose: Exotic fruits, citrus notes, dried apricots, sultanas, spices and toasted wood.
