Monin’s TREE-GROWING CHERRY fruit purée (1 l PET bottle) brings one of Brazil’s most fascinating fruits into the world of modern drinks and dessert creations. The jabuticaba, also known as the tree-trunk cherry, is the first fruit in the Le Fruit de MONIN range that does not grow on branches or stems, but directly on the tree’s trunk. In botany, this extraordinary characteristic is known as cauliflory. Originating from the tropical regions of Brazil, this fruit is one of South America’s most exciting exotic specialities and delights with its immense aromatic complexity. With this high-quality fruit purée, Monin brings to life a flavour that remains largely unknown outside Brazil.
The Monin Le Fruit Tree-Trunk Cherry Fruit Purée contains the equivalent of 50.1% jabuticaba purée and impresses with its authentic fruit flavour and natural aromas. The small, dark purple fruits combine intense notes of dark berries, grapes, cherries and exotic fruits to create a multi-layered taste experience. Thanks to its high concentration, the purée is ideal for professional use, with a recommended dilution ratio of 1:6. The practical 1-litre PET bottle allows for easy dispensing and makes this premium fruit purée the ideal ingredient for bars, cafés, restaurants and creative culinary concepts.
