The Santa Teresa 1796 Triple Aged Solera Rum, 40% vol., 0.7 l, is one of Venezuela’s best-known premium rums and is regarded as the flagship product of the historic Hacienda Santa Teresa distillery. The distillery’s history dates back to 1796 and combines Venezuelan rum-making tradition with the finest craftsmanship. Produced in the fertile Aragua Valley, one of Venezuela’s most important sugarcane-growing regions, this rum benefits from particularly aromatic sugarcane and ideal climatic conditions. The elegant 0.7 l bottle represents a rum that is prized worldwide for its exceptional balance, complexity and smoothness.
What makes Santa Teresa 1796 so special is its elaborate triple-aged Solera process. Various rum distillates of different ages are blended together using the traditional Solera method and then further refined. Maturation takes place over a period of at least 15 years in small Limousin oak casks, which lend the rum additional depth and elegance. This meticulous cask ageing produces an exceptionally harmonious and complex rum, characterised by its smooth texture and balanced aroma. Santa Teresa 1796 Triple Aged Solera Rum is therefore regarded as one of Venezuela’s most significant premium bottlings.

Nose: Subtle notes of dried fruit, almonds, vanilla, caramel and elegant woody spices.
Palate: Smooth and rounded with fruit flavours, toasted nuts, creamy vanilla, oak, caramel cream and a subtle hint of cocoa.
Finish: Quite long-lasting, balanced and slightly dry with subtle spicy notes.
