Only carefully selected Glera grapes grown in the vineyards of the province of Treviso are used for this Prosecco Extra Dry. The vineyards stretch across the gentle moraine hills and fertile alluvial soils of the DOC region, which provide ideal conditions for aromatic and well-balanced grapes. After gentle pressing, the musts are aged under temperature-controlled conditions before secondary fermentation takes place using specially selected yeast cultures. Fermentation takes place at low temperatures of 15 to 16 °C to optimally preserve the freshness and delicate fruit aromas of the Glera grape. The result is an elegant Italian sparkling wine that authentically reflects the typical characteristics of the Treviso region. Its balanced structure, fine effervescence and harmonious fruitiness make it the ideal accompaniment for a wide range of occasions – from an aperitif to a festive reception.

Tasting Note

In the glass, the Villa Sandi Il Fresco Prosecco Treviso Extra Dry Millesimato DOC presents a pale straw-yellow colour with a fine, long-lasting effervescence. On the nose, fruity and floral aromas unfold, with hints of ripe Golden Delicious apple and delicate mountain flowers. On the palate, this Prosecco is dry, smooth and aromatic, with harmonious fruit and well-balanced freshness. The fine effervescence lends it elegance and liveliness. The finish is fruity, balanced and pleasantly lingering.
