At 43% ABV in a 0.7-litre bottle, this bottling forms part of the exclusive Maritime Release series, which comprises a total of four different single malts. The distinctive bottle shape is modelled on historic buoys, which once served as floats for fishing nets and symbolise the distillery’s close connection to the Irish coast.


This triple-distilled single malt Irish whisky is initially matured in carefully selected first-fill bourbon casks before receiving its characteristic finish in Calvados casks from the traditional French house of Garnier. This special secondary maturation imparts elegant fruity aromas of fresh apples and pears, as well as subtle nutty nuances, which blend harmoniously with notes of vanilla and bourbon cask. Like all bottlings in the Maritime Release series, this edition is also bottled without chill filtration and without the addition of colourings, thereby fully preserving its natural character and complex aromas. The result is a balanced and elegant single malt Irish whisky that combines classic bourbon cask maturation with the fruity influences of a high-quality Calvados cask.
