Tasting Note

In the glass, the IRO Zweigelt Ried Ungerberg 2025 presents a deep ruby-garnet colour with violet highlights. On the nose, subtle notes of precious wood, dark wild berries, fresh heart cherries and delicate hints of nougat unfold. On the palate, the wine is juicy and elegant, with a delicate fruit sweetness, harmoniously integrated tannins and a well-balanced structure. The finish is complex, elegant and pleasantly long-lasting.

The IRO Zweigelt Ried Ungerberg 2025 pairs superbly with beef, game, lamb, stews and hearty meat dishes. This Burgenland Zweigelt is also an excellent accompaniment to a selection of tangy cheeses or fine Austrian cuisine.
