Schwarzböck Grüner Veltliner Premium Ried Sätzen – Hagenbrunn 2025, 13% ABV, in a 0.75-litre bottle, is a high-quality Austrian white wine from Lower Austria that combines the classic Grüner Veltliner grape variety with terroir character and elegance. The grapes come from the Ried Sätzen vineyard on the Veiglberg, an east-facing site where the vines are rooted in sandy loam with a flysch subsoil. Thanks to their eastern exposure, the vineyards benefit from the morning sun, which allows the soil to warm up early and creates optimal conditions for balanced grape ripening.


The 2025 wine year was characterised by normal budbreak, flowering in early June, and a cool, damp July, which contributed to the development of delicate aromas. The predominantly dry weather during the harvest from September to October allowed for a selective harvest. The harvest took place in mid-September, after which the grapes were gently pressed and fermented in stainless-steel tanks at 20 °C. Ageing on the fine lees until mid-March gives the wine additional structure and harmony before bottling takes place at the end of March 2026. With an alcohol content of 13 % vol., this premium Grüner Veltliner from Lower Austria presents itself as an elegant classic of exceptional quality.

In the glass, the Schwarzböck Grüner Veltliner Premium Ried Sätzen – Hagenbrunn 2025 presents itself as a pale yellow with shimmering highlights. On the nose, delicate apple notes unfold, accompanied by subtle, variety-typical aromas. On the palate, this white wine is spicy and elegant, with a lively structure, well-balanced body and harmonious freshness. The finish is full of character, well-balanced and pleasantly long-lasting.
