Distilled on 10 February 2015 and bottled by Signatory Vintage on 17 March 2026 after 11 years of maturation, this single cask whisky is presented at a robust 58.4% ABV in its natural cask strength. The 0.7-litre bottle, presented in a high-quality tin box, is part of a strictly limited edition of just 341 bottles worldwide, making it one of the rarest releases in the Signatory Cask Strength Collection.


This whisky derives its distinctive character from its maturation in a first-fill Amontillado hogshead (Cask #101). The dry, nutty style of the Amontillado sherry lends the Benriach exceptional depth, combining intense nutty aromas with spicy woody notes and dark fruitiness. The interplay of walnuts, hazelnuts, cedar wood and dark chocolate is harmoniously complemented by the distillate’s oily malt core. As is typical for Signatory Vintage, the bottling is carried out without chill filtration and without colouring agents, ensuring that all the natural flavours and the full intensity of the cask strength are preserved.

Tasting Note

Colour: A rich amber-yellow with coppery highlights.

Nose: Intense aromas of walnuts and hazelnuts, accompanied by cedar wood, subtle sherry spice, dark chocolate and ripe fruit.

Palate: Full-bodied and dry with nutty Amontillado sherry notes, raisins, dark chocolate, subtle woody spice and an oily malty core.

Finish: Medium-long to long with dry, nutty wood notes, lingering sherry spice and dark fruit.
