The Hillinger Small Hill Rosé 2025, 11.5% ABV, in a 0.75-litre bottle, is a fresh and fruit-forward Austrian rosé wine that delights with its elegant style and approachable character. The Leo Hillinger winery is one of Austria’s best-known wineries and is renowned for modern wines with a clear provenance and high quality. The Small Hill Rosé blends 50% Zweigelt, 25% St. Laurent and 25% Pinot Noir into a harmonious cuvée that perfectly combines freshness, fruitiness and lightness.


During production, the must from the Pinot Noir is obtained by free-run juice, whilst the St. Laurent and Zweigelt are pressed as whole bunches. Temperature-controlled fermentation and ageing take place entirely in stainless steel tanks, ensuring that the fruity aromas and lively freshness are optimally preserved. The 2025 vintage is dry, elegant and features a pleasantly crisp acidity that is superbly integrated. With an alcohol content of 11.5% vol. and a ageing potential of up to two years, this rosé is the ideal companion for warm days and carefree moments of enjoyment.

Tasting Note

In the glass, the Hillinger Small Hill Rosé 2025 displays a deep pink to light red colour. On the nose, an intense, berry-like, fruity bouquet unfolds with an inviting freshness. On the palate, the rosé is dry, juicy and well-balanced, with lively berry fruit, crisp, well-integrated acidity and a harmonious structure. The finish is fresh, elegant and pleasantly fruity.

Served at a temperature of 7–10 °C, it reveals its fruity freshness and elegant lightness to particular effect.
