The Hillinger Sauvignon Blanc 2025, 12% ABV, in a 0.75-litre bottle, is an expressive Austrian white wine that elegantly reflects the typical aromas of the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety. The Leo Hillinger Winery is one of Austria’s most renowned wineries and is synonymous with modern wines characterised by a clear style, high quality and unmistakable character. The 2025 vintage impresses with its freshness, precision and intense fruit aromas.
The grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at 13 to 15 °C, with fermentation lasting around five weeks. The wine is then aged on the fine lees for three months, which lends it additional structure and elegance. With an alcohol content of 12 % vol., this Austrian Sauvignon Blanc offers lively freshness, distinct fruit and harmonious balance. Thanks to its ageing potential of up to two years, it is suitable both for immediate enjoyment and for a short period of ageing.
Tasting Note
In the glass, the Hillinger Sauvignon Blanc 2025 presents a medium straw-yellow colour with greenish highlights. On the nose, intense aromas of gooseberry and elderberry unfold, accompanied by notes of freshly mown grass, green pepper and floral hints of cornflowers. On the palate, it develops expressive aromas with lively freshness and a harmonious, medium-bodied structure. The finish is fruit-driven, elegant and pleasantly long-lasting.

Served at a temperature of 8–10 °C, it reveals its freshness, fruitiness and aromatic complexity to particular effect.
