In the glass, the Scheiblhofer The Cabernet Sauvignon 2024 displays a deep, dark violet colour. On the nose, intense aromas of blackcurrants unfold, accompanied by red pepper, subtle caramel notes and an elegant hint of oak. On the palate, it is powerful, complex and full-bodied, with a sweet, spicy astringency, dense fruit and perfectly integrated toasty notes from its 18-month ageing in barriques. The finish is exceptionally long-lasting and harmonious, carried by spicy oak notes and dark fruit.
