Elephant Gin Orange & Cocoa is a special gin creation from Elephant Gin, in which the classic juniper character is enhanced with notes of orange and cocoa. The combination blends fresh citrus notes with the darker, subtly bitter nuances of the cocoa bean, creating an unusual interpretation of the familiar Elephant Gin style. As is characteristic of the brand, the focus is on carefully selected botanicals and artisanal production. Alongside juniper, various African-inspired botanicals play a key role in the brand’s identity. Nose: Fresh and aromatic with juniper and juicy orange, accompanied by subtle citrus zest, spicy botanicals and delicate notes of cocoa.

Palate: Harmonious and multi-layered with fresh orange, classic juniper and subtly bitter cocoa, complemented by spicy and slightly earthy botanical accents.

Finish: Long-lasting and balanced, with citrus freshness, juniper and a subtly bitter, faintly chocolatey cocoa note.

Elephant Gin Orange & Cocoa is ideal for a gin and tonic, whereby a classic or dry tonic water brings out the distinctive character of the orange and cocoa. An orange zest makes for an excellent garnish, further emphasising the citrus notes. The combination of citrus, juniper and cocoa also makes for an interesting choice in a Negroni or other stronger gin cocktails. In terms of food pairings, dark chocolate, orange-flavoured desserts, roasted nuts or spicy hard cheese complement its aromatic profile.
