New Grove Caramel Liqueur of Mauritius is a rum-based caramel liqueur from Mauritius, which combines the island’s time-honoured tradition of producing sugar cane spirits with an intense caramel flavour. It is based on Mauritian rum from New Grove, whose origins are closely linked to sugarcane cultivation in Mauritius. New Grove Rum is part of the long-established producer Grays, which has a long history of sugarcane processing and distillation on the island. For this speciality liqueur, the rum base is combined with caramel, resulting in a particularly well-rounded and approachable style. Colour: Deep, glossy amber with caramel-coloured highlights.

Palate: Creamy and full-bodied with rich caramel, subtle buttery notes and vanilla, harmoniously complemented by the spicy Mauritian rum base.

Finish: Long-lasting, smooth and sweet with intense caramel, toffee and subtle nutty notes.

New Grove Caramel Liqueur is excellent served neat, slightly chilled or on the rocks, and is particularly well suited as a digestif. Coffee, espresso or hot chocolate can also be enhanced with a small amount of this caramel liqueur. In cocktails, it adds a distinct caramel note and is particularly well-suited to creamy drinks and Tiki-inspired creations.
