Aultmore is based in the Speyside region of Scotland and is known for a comparatively clean, elegant distillate character. The whisky is bottled at 46% ABV and presents itself as a non-peaty, approachable single malt with a clear focus on the ex-bourbon casks used.


The bottling is produced by Uncharted Whisky, an independent Scottish whisky bottler that releases selected casks from various Scottish distilleries under its own name. Tasting Note

Nose: Fresh pear, juicy pineapple and lemon sorbet, accompanied by a crisp, fruity freshness.

Palate: Creamy and smooth with notes of lemon cake, floral nuances, light fruit and delicately integrated oak.

Finish: Mild, fruity and pleasantly warming with subtle ester notes and a gentle, lingering oak spice.

The Uncharted Whisky Blue Collection 8 Year Old is particularly well suited to being enjoyed neat at room temperature, although a few drops of still water can further bring out its fresh fruity notes. Culinary pairings for this non-smoky single malt include mild hard cheese, roasted almonds, lemon cake or light desserts featuring pear and vanilla.
