Moët & Chandon Champagne ROSÉ IMPÉRIAL Brut Love 12 % is an expressive rosé champagne from France, combining the characteristic style of the long-established Moët & Chandon champagne house with a special gift presentation. The blend consists of 40–50 per cent Pinot Noir, 30–40 per cent Meunier and 10–20 per cent Chardonnay. In addition, depending on the blend, 20–30 per cent of selected reserve wines are used to achieve the desired consistency, depth and balance. A proportion of the Pinot Noir and Meunier wines used are vinified as red wine, contributing to the characteristic rosé style. As prescribed for Champagne AOC, the fine effervescence is produced through the traditional second fermentation in the bottle.

With an alcohol content of 12 per cent in the 0.75-litre bottle and a dosage of 7 g/l, the Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial is classified as a Brut or dry champagne. According to the house, the cuvée spends around 21 months in the cellar and is left to mature for a further three months after disgorging. Tasting Note

In the glass, Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial Brut presents itself as a radiant rosé with sparkling amber highlights. On the nose, a lively and intense bouquet of wild strawberries, raspberries and cherries unfolds, complemented by floral rose notes and a subtle hint of pepper. On the palate, this champagne is expressive and supple, with juicy red berries, a fleshy note of peach and an elegant structure. The finish is fresh and lingering, with subtle nuances of pepper and mint.

Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial is an excellent choice of champagne for festive receptions and special occasions, whilst also being highly versatile when paired with food. The champagne house recommends, amongst other things, red meat, white fish, shellfish and summer vegetables; fresh red berries also complement its style well. This rosé champagne is best served at around 10–12 °C, preferably in a tulip-shaped champagne glass.
