Description
Tschida Angerhof Spätlese 2025 8.5% ABV 0.75l online kaufen
The Tschida Angerhof Spätlese 2025 is a fruit-forward Austrian white wine from the Angerhof Tschida winery, blending the Chardonnay, Grüner Veltliner and Welschriesling grape varieties into a harmonious cuvée. As a Spätlese, the wine is made from grapes with a higher degree of ripeness, thereby combining pronounced fruitiness with a lively acidity. The low alcohol content of just 8.5% enhances the wine’s light and approachable character. The Angerhof Tschida Winery is based in Illmitz, Burgenland, on Lake Neusiedl, a region particularly renowned for its high-quality Prädikat wines. The distinct characteristics of the three grape varieties complement one another in this Spätlese to create a versatile white wine that can be enjoyed on its own or as an accompaniment to food.
The vinification of the Tschida Angerhof Spätlese 2025 focuses on preserving the fresh character typical of the grape varieties. The cuvée is fermented entirely in stainless-steel tanks and subsequently stored there, thus avoiding ageing in wooden barrels. This straightforward approach to vinification highlights the wine’s natural fruit, freshness and structure. In its 0.75-litre bottle, this Spätlese thus offers an interesting combination of Burgenland origins, three classic white wine grape varieties and a moderate alcohol content of 8.5 per cent. Thanks to its balanced style, it is suitable for both special occasions and casual moments of enjoyment, and is an interesting choice particularly for lovers of fruity Austrian Prädikat wines.
Tasting Note
In the glass, the Tschida Angerhof Spätlese 2025 presents a pale yellow hue. On the nose, there are juicy notes of pome fruit and ripe pear, accompanied by exotic hints of passion fruit and pineapple. On the palate, this Spätlese is lively and multi-layered, with a salty freshness, subtle spice and a tangy acidity providing an exciting counterpoint to its pronounced fruitiness. The finish is fruit-forward, fresh and characterised by a harmonious acidity.
The Tschida Angerhof Spätlese 2025 pairs particularly well with pâtés and Asian dishes featuring spicy, sweet-and-sour sauces, as its fruit and acidity provide a fitting contrast to more intense seasoning. It is equally well suited to mature cheeses, hearty bakes and savoury strudel variations. This Spätlese is also highly versatile when paired with sweet strudels and dumpling dishes. The recommended serving temperature is 10–12 °C.
