Palate: Powerful and full-bodied with tropical fruit, caramel and vanilla, as well as warm spices and distinctive oak notes.

Finish: Long-lasting, robust and spicy with ripe fruit, subtle toasty aromas and a dry, lingering oak finish.

With an alcohol content of 50%, the Planteray Mauritius 2014 Oceana Collection is particularly well suited to being enjoyed neat at around 18 to 20 °C, although a few drops of still water can help to open up its robust structure. It pairs well with dark chocolate with a high cocoa content, roasted nuts, caramelised pineapple or desserts featuring vanilla and tropical fruits.
