The Suntory Hibiki Japanese Harmony Blended Whisky Limited Design Edition 2026, 43% ABV, combines the elegant style of Hibiki Japanese Harmony with an intricately designed collector’s bottle that showcases Japanese craftsmanship. The iconic 24-faceted Hibiki bottle symbolises the 24 traditional Japanese micro-seasons and has been reinterpreted for this Limited Design Edition 2026 in collaboration with Chiso. This long-established company has preserved the art of Japanese Yuzen silk dyeing for generations, combining historical techniques with contemporary design. The bottle features vibrant floral motifs in gold, carmine red, emerald green, indigo and delicate shades of pink, lending this special edition the character of a decorative collector’s item.


The design of the Hibiki Japanese Harmony 2026 Limited Edition is rich in Japanese symbolism: Tachibana, an evergreen citrus plant, symbolises lasting prosperity, whilst Kiri, the paulownia tree, embodies good fortune and nobility. Sakura cherry blossoms symbolise the beauty of the seasons and renewal, whilst Ume plum blossoms and Tsubaki camellias represent longevity and timeless vitality. At 43% ABV, the bottle contains the well-known Hibiki Japanese Harmony Blended Whisky, whose balanced blend of floral, fruity, sweet and delicately woody notes defines the characteristic Hibiki style. The 0.7-litre bottle thus combines Japanese whisky with an exceptional bottle design and continues Hibiki’s tradition of creating limited editions in collaboration with leading Japanese artists and craftspeople.

Tasting Note

Colour: Amber.

Nose: Harmonious, with honeyed sweetness, candied orange peel and white chocolate.

Palate: Elegant and complex with notes of rose, lychee and a hint of rosemary, accompanied by ripe woody notes and sandalwood.

Finish: Smooth and long-lasting with a subtle hint of Mizunara, the Japanese oak.

Hibiki Japanese Harmony is served particularly stylishly over a large, hand-carved Marugori-style ice ball, which allows the whisky to open up slowly whilst remaining cool. When enjoyed neat in a nosing glass, however, its floral and delicately woody nuances come through particularly clearly. Culinary pairings include sushi with salmon or tuna, mildly grilled fish, roasted nuts or fine hard cheeses, all of which complement its elegant structure well. Desserts featuring orange, white chocolate or lychee also harmoniously complement the blend’s characteristic sweet, fruity notes.
