Bacardi, founded in Santiago de Cuba in 1862, is one of the world’s most renowned rum brands. On 4 February 1862, Don Facundo Bacardí Massó acquired the first BACARDÍ rum distillery on Calle El Matadero and revolutionised rum production through innovative processes that are still in use today. Using high-quality ingredients and a unique yeast strain, known as ‘La Levadura BACARDÍ’, he created a distinctive flavour profile.

Bacardi Ron Carta Blanca Superior is the classic among rums and has embodied the true Latin-Caribbean zest for life since 1862. As an indispensable base for some of the world’s most famous cocktails and long drinks, it is produced according to the original recipe of the founder, Don Facundo Bacardi.

In a meticulous production process, Bacardi Carta Blanca is distilled four times and filtered five times through charcoal to ensure an exceptionally pure and refined taste experience. It is then aged for at least one year in American white oak casks.
