Janeiro Cachaça 40% vol. 0.7 litre is an authentic Brazilian cachaça, inspired by the unique lifestyle of the vibrant metropolis of Rio de Janeiro. The spirit combines traditional Brazilian craftsmanship with modern elegance and epitomises the lightness, joie de vivre and unmistakable character of the famous "Cariocas". Cachaça became famous worldwide as the main ingredient in the classic caipirinha, but high-quality bottlings such as Janeiro Cachaça are just as impressive on their own with their exceptional freshness and balance.


Only fresh green sugar cane is used for production, which is harvested by hand and processed directly on the same plantation. Unlike many industrial productions, the sugar cane fields are not burnt down at all, resulting in a particularly pure and flavoursome sugar cane juice. After fermentation, distillation takes place in steel stills. A small amount of the fermented sugar cane juice deliberately remains in the distillation process and gives Janeiro Cachaça its characteristically fresh and fragrant bouquet. A short maturation in oak barrels also ensures harmony and fine depth. The elegant bottle design with its curved lines also echoes the famous silhouette of the Sugar Loaf and the Weller of the Copacabana.
