Corralejo Tequila Añejo 100% Agave 38% ABV 0.7 l is a fine tequila from Mexico, characterised by its long ageing process and high quality. Made from 100 per cent blue agave, this Añejo tequila impresses with its rich array of flavours and smooth texture. After distillation, the tequila is aged for at least 12 months in French Limousin oak casks, which gives it its characteristic, velvety flavour. This extended ageing brings out complex notes of wood, vanilla and spices, making the tequila an ideal drink for discerning connoisseurs.

Corralejo Tequila Añejo is perfect for enjoying neat, but also makes an excellent base for sophisticated cocktails. With an alcohol content of 38% vol., it offers the perfect balance between strength and smoothness. Ideal as a digestif after a meal or as an ingredient in luxurious tequila cocktails.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep gold with amber highlights.

Nose: Aromas of oak, vanilla, honey, caramel, a hint of cinnamon and a touch of dark chocolate.

Palate: Full-bodied, smooth and complex, with notes of ripe agave, toasted wood, delicate vanilla, caramel and a hint of pepper.

Finish: Long and warm, with a gentle sweetness and a mild woody note that lingers pleasantly.

Corralejo Tequila Añejo pairs superbly with dark chocolate, spicy dishes or a selection of mature cheeses such as Manchego or Pecorino.
