Valt Vodka comes from Scotland and demonstrates that this renowned whisky-producing region is also capable of producing high-quality vodka. The production process combines craftsmanship, tradition and precision, using Scottish mountain spring water and malted barley, which are distilled into vodka using a five-stage micro-distillation process.

The idea of producing Scottish gin and vodka came about during a visit to a bar, when two Scots decided to use their expertise to create the world’s first Scottish single malt vodka. An elaborate process helps ensure that this malt vodka stands out on the market. Following the five-stage micro-distillation process, the vodka is aged for three years in oak casks and then distilled once more. Careful filtration processes, some carried out at minus twelve degrees Celsius, ensure a particularly pure vodka.

The entire production process is based on a distilling tradition dating back over 400 years, which has been modernised and implemented in a distillery specially equipped for this purpose. Strathearn Distillers, situated near the shores of Loch Lomond, produces both Valt Single Malt Scottish Vodka and Gilt Gin, and is renowned for its high-quality premium spirits.
