This tribute is expressed through a masterful blend of six different cask types. The whisky is matured in ex-bourbon casks, Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks, Madeira casks, Marsala casks, port casks and Cabernet Sauvignon barriques. This unique variety of casks creates an impressively deep, balanced and velvety-complex flavour profile that is unrivalled in the world of Scotch whisky.

Tasting Note

Colour: Mahogany with a coppery-golden sheen.

Nose: Complex, with red berries, cinnamon, dark chocolate, orange marmalade, toasted nuts, sherry-like spice and a floral depth.

Palate: Complex, smooth and rounded with raisins, mocha, vanilla cream, ripe plums, almonds, spicy notes and soft wood.

Finish: Long and warm with dried fruit, oaky spice, dark chocolate and an elegant tannin structure.

This luxurious Highland single malt deserves to be enjoyed neat at room temperature in a nosing glass.
