The Legendario Roner Dorado is a high-quality golden rum produced in Cuba that is known for its smooth yet aromatic characteristics. Produced by the renowned Empresa de Bebidas y Refrescos, this rum is aged for up to 5 years in selected American white oak barrels. This maturation gives it a fine balance between sweet, fruity and spicy flavours, making it a special treat both on its own and in cocktails.

A special feature of this Legendario rum is its original bottle shape, which is still fitted with a special "non-refill cap". This valve prevents the bottle from being refilled and ensures precise dosing when pouring. However, it can mean that the cap is not always completely tight, which can occasionally lead to minimal loss of liquid during transport. However, this is not a quality defect and does not affect the excellent quality of this rum.

Tasting Note

Colour: Golden amber with warm reflections.

Nose: Soft vanilla notes, caramel, slightly spicy oak and a hint of dried fruit.

Flavour: Smooth and balanced with sweet nuances of honey, toasted oak, vanilla and a subtle spiciness.

Finish: Medium-long, soft and slightly sweet with a pleasant hint of caramel and wood.

The Legendario Roner Dorado is ideal for pure enjoyment on ice, but can also impress in classic cocktails such as a Cuba Libre or a Rum Old Fashioned. Thanks to its soft vanilla and caramel notes, it also harmonises wonderfully with dark chocolate, caramelised nuts or spicy cheese.
