Galliano Vanilla 30% is an aromatic vanilla liqueur based on the well-known Galliano L’Autentico, whose characteristic herbal and spicy notes are complemented by a pronounced vanilla flavour. Vanilla is one of the world’s most precious spices and comes from the vanilla orchid, the only one of more than 25,000 orchid species that bears edible fruit. This rare plant thrives in only a few regions of the world, making real vanilla one of the most expensive spices. Its sweet, smooth and versatile flavour profile makes it particularly popular both in the kitchen and in the world of spirits.


Galliano Vanilla combines the natural sweetness and warmth of high-quality vanilla with Galliano’s traditional herbal base, which includes Mediterranean aniseed, cardamom, lavender, mint and cinnamon. The addition of a fragrant vanilla distillate creates a liqueur with a well-rounded, pleasantly smooth character, whilst retaining the brand’s signature herbal notes and floral freshness. Its clear, golden-yellow colour and creamy, aromatic flavour make this liqueur a versatile accompaniment – whether enjoyed neat, in coffee, in cocktails or in dessert recipes. At 30 per cent ABV, it is slightly milder than the original Galliano L’Autentico and offers an accessible, long-lasting vanilla aroma.

Tasting Note

Colour: Clear, golden yellow.

Nose: Vanilla, a hint of mint, toffee and hints of herbs.

Palate: Creamy vanilla, subtle peppermint freshness, sweet liquorice and delicate herbal notes.

Finish: Long-lasting, with vanilla ice cream, spicy mint, a hint of aniseed and a touch of pepper.

This vanilla liqueur is ideal for creamy desserts such as panna cotta, vanilla ice cream, chocolate fondant or caramel pastries, as its warm vanilla notes beautifully complement these flavours. It is also ideal for use in coffee drinks, winter hot drinks or summer iced coffees. In cocktails, it provides a versatile aromatic base, for example in modern dessert drinks, espresso Martini variations or light summer creations. Served neat or on the rocks, Galliano Vanilla reveals its smooth, long-lasting sweetness particularly clearly and is excellent as an after-dinner treat.
