Heisse Witwe Original Liqueur is a traditional mulled wine spirit produced in Lustenau, Austria, by Fancy Company Drinks & Food GmbH – a subsidiary of the well-known Wilhelm Hämmerle Destillerie-Freihof. This Austrian classic has long since established itself as a popular winter drink and has become an indispensable part of après-ski parties, Christmas markets and cosy winter evenings.
With its intense plum flavour, combined with a finely balanced blend of cinnamon, cloves, oranges and other winter spices, Heisse Witwe offers a unique taste experience. Thanks to its strong alcohol content of 22.5% by volume, it warms you up nicely from the inside and creates a cosy atmosphere during the cold season.

Tasting Note
Colour: Deep ruby red.
Nose: Fruity plum, spicy cinnamon, cloves, orange peel, subtle herbal notes.
Palate: Sweet, fruity, spicy, pronounced mulled wine aromas, gentle herbal spice, subtle hints of vanilla.
Finish: Lang, warming, harmonious, slightly tart with a subtle sweetness.
The Heisse Witwe unfolds its full aroma when heated, but not boiled, to best preserve the delicate notes of the spices. It is a perfect accompaniment for après-ski parties, Christmas celebrations and winter events. As well as being delicious on its own, it’s ideal as a base for Punsch, hot cocktails or winter long drinks.
Enjoy it in its original form: pour 4 cl of ‘Heisse Witwe Original’ liqueur whilst hot, serve with a dollop of cream, dust with cinnamon and/or serve with a sour cherry.
