Gran Patrón Burdeos Añejo is an exclusive ultra-premium tequila that meets the highest standards. Made from 100 per cent blue Weber agave, this añejo tequila is produced in Patrón’s state-of-the-art distilleries in Jalisco, Mexico, under strict quality controls. Only particularly ripe agaves are used for Gran Patrón Burdeos; these are cooked, fermented and then double-distilled using traditional methods. After distillation, the tequila is aged in American and French oak casks before being transferred to used Bordeaux wine casks for a special finish.

The result is an exceptionally smooth, multi-layered tequila with a rich character, combining the typical notes of an aged agave distillate with the fruity, spicy depth of French red wine oak. Tasting Note

Colour: Deep mahogany with ruby-red highlights.

Nose: Complex aromas of ripe agave, dark berries, vanilla, oak and toasty notes.

Palate: Full-bodied with notes of caramel, dried fruit, spices and hints of red wine.

Finish: Lang and elegant, with subtly integrated oak and fruity warmth.

Perfect as a digestif with dark chocolate, dried fruit or mature hard cheese. Also ideal paired with a fine cigar or as a highlight at exclusive tastings. Can be served neat at room temperature to allow the complex interplay of aromas to come into its own.
