The Botanist Islay Dry Gin is a unique premium gin from the Scottish Hebridean island of Islay, characterised by its multi-layered complexity and artisanal precision. With an alcohol content of 46% ABV, it is distilled in small batches at the renowned Bruichladdich Distillery, which is best known for its high-quality whiskies. This Islay Dry Gin is considered the first of its kind on the island and represents a progressive exploration of Islay’s botanical heritage.


A total of 22 hand-selected botanicals from the island – including herbs, flowers and roots – are combined with nine classic gin ingredients such as juniper, coriander seeds and citrus peel in a particularly slow distillation process. The result is a multi-layered flavour profile that combines elegance, depth and harmony. Its crystal-clear purity and the subtle balance between floral, spicy and citrusy notes make it an essential addition to any home bar. Whether served as ‘The Botanist and Tonic’ or in a classic dry Martini, this gin is the perfect base for stylish cocktails.
